Job summary

J Rose Logistics seeks experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local intermodal account based in Bell Gardens, CA. Enjoy predictable schedules with daily home time, a competitive pay package, and comprehensive benefits as a full-time employee.

This slip-seat position operates 5 days per week with preload and live freight mixed, with optional extra days available to boost earnings. Home daily with two days off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Must reside within 25 miles of Bell Gardens, CA.
• Clean Clearinghouse record (no SAP drivers).
• Background and safety reviewed case-by-case.

Responsibilities

• Transport local intermodal freight safely throughout the Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles areas.
• Pull routes out of 5 core rail/freight ramps: Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington.
• Perform regional runs up North through the Grapevine (Shafter and Lebec areas).
• Complete a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading/unloading maneuvers (100% No-Touch Freight).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD), and report equipment issues promptly.
• Park and slip-seat trucks at the Bell Gardens yard at the end of each shift.
