Job summary
Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) is seeking a local Class A CDL driver to join our team and deliver food products to restaurant customers. You will operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes, maintain safety standards, complete DOT logs, and communicate with dispatch and store personnel.
This role offers competitive pay starting at 28.19 per hour with weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, 401(k), paid holidays, and uniforms/shoes provided, supporting a stable, home-daily schedule in a 24/7
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical card.
- At least 1 year tractor-trailer driving in food service or beverage delivery.
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes with no layovers.
- Deliver food products safely to restaurant customers.
- Load/unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks; touch-freight.
- Complete vehicle inspections and maintain DOT logs.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and store personnel.
- Handle return loads and ensure compliance.
