Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD), a subsidiary of Golden State Foods, seeks local Class A CDL drivers home daily to support food service deliveries. You will operate a diesel tractor-trailer on local routes, delivering products to restaurant customers with touch-freight and comprehensive DOT compliance.

This 24/7 role requires lifting 75+ lbs, strong customer service, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Starting pay is $28.19/hour with weekly pay and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical card and at least 1+ year of tractor-trailer driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers).
• Strong customer service and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays in a 24/7 operation.
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading/speaking English per DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes with no layovers.
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers.
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks (touch-freight).
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members.
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance.
