Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver for local drayage with home daily schedules. You will handle local pickups and deliveries to port/rail yards, maintain logs, and ensure safe, timely transport of freight.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A CDL and 2+ years of driving experience, with port/drayage exposure and TWIC card preferred or required depending on operations. Excellent communication with dispatch and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL License is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.
• Drayage/Port experience required.
• TWIC Card preferred or required depending on operation.
• Clean driving record with a strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive local pickup and delivery routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Ensure safe, on-time deliveries and professional service.
