Cameron Ashley Building Products is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Delivery Service Associate for local routes around our distribution center. The role emphasizes safe driving, accurate delivery, and customer interaction with daily home time and a comprehensive benefits package.

The position requires a CDL, DOT compliance, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of recent driving experience. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with employment contingent on various screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Must meet all DOT qualification standards.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Minimum 3 years of similar driving experience in last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Willing and able to work safely at all times and observe safety procedures.
• Operate semi-truck and non-CDL trucks per state and federal laws.
• Transit loads safely and on time, following route and traffic rules.
• Load/unload goods using appropriate equipment and secure cargo for transport.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and communicate with branch staff.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Ensure delivered material matches documents and is in good condition.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional manner.
