Job summary

Cameron Ashley Building Products is seeking a reliable Class A CDL driver for a Delivery Service Associate role servicing local routes around our distribution center. This safety-sensitive position offers daily home time, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include delivering products to customers with a courteous, professional attitude, adhering to safety procedures, and maintaining required paperwork and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must meet DOT qualification standards, including drug screening and Medical Card.
• Must have an acceptable driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed trucks and curtain-side trailers on local routes.
• Ensure safe loading, securing cargo and adherence to DOT rules.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate with the branch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
