Job summary

The driver will operate flatbed and curtain-side trailers, delivering products accurately and with professionalism to customers. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, cargo securing, documentation, and timely communication with the branch and customers.

Qualifications

• CDL A required with valid license and endorsements as needed.
• Must meet DOT qualification standards including drug screening and Medical Card.
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years.
• Minimum 3 years of similar driving experience in last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Employment contingent upon passing DOT drug/alcohol test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed and curtain-side trailers per safety rules.
• Deliver products to customers on local routes from distribution center.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Secure cargo with straps, chains, and covers; ensure weight distribution.
• Maintain invoices, bills of lading, and required paperwork; submit as required.
• Communicate delivery status and any issues to branch staff and customers.
• Provide courteous professional service to customers during delivery.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
