Job summary

Cameron Ashley Building Products Inc. is seeking a reliable Class A CDL Driver to fill a Delivery Service Associate role for local routes around our distribution center. This position offers daily home time, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

The primary function is to operate flatbed or curtain-side trailers to deliver products accurately to customers. The job requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT compliance, and a minimum of 3 years of related driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Meets DOT qualification standards, including drug screening and Med Card.
• Must have an acceptable driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Minimum of 3 years of similar driving experience within the last 5 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Employment may require DOT drug and alcohol testing, MVR check, and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Drive flatbed trucks and curtain-side trailers for local deliveries.
• Maintain safety and observe all DOT and company policies.
• Load/unload and secure cargo with straps, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
• Prepare and submit invoices and shipping paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle readiness.
• Communicate with customers professionally during deliveries.
