RJ Schinner Co. seeks a Class A CDL Driver for local, full-time work in Atlanta, GA. The role involves 53 ft. tractor-trailer operation, 1-2 overnight stays weekly, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL Operator's License.
• 3 years driving experience (preferably 100,000 miles).
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Ability to pass driving history and background check.
• Possess a Federal Medical Card.
• Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions for Class A Drivers.
• Effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects truck before and after trips and completes DVIRs as required.
• Assists customers with verifying quantities and products delivered vs. ship tickets.
• Collects payment for goods delivered per ship ticket instructions.
• Maintains driver logs per federal, state, and local regulations.
• Operates within safety guidelines per regulations and company policies.
• Ensures equipment cleanliness is maintained.
• Maintain CDL and clean driving record per DOT and company rules.
• Uphold company policies and attitudes.
• Participate in driver incentive programs and keep routes consistent.
