RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Driver for local 53 ft tractor-trailer routes centered in Atlanta, GA. This full-time position requires 1–2 overnight stays per week with overtime opportunities and a Monday–Friday schedule. Emphasis on safety, reliable routes, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL Operator’s License.
• 3 years driving experience preferred (100,000 miles).
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random DOT drug tests.
• Ability to pass driving history and background checks.
• Must possess Federal Medical Card.

Responsibilities

• Inspects truck before/after trips and completes DVIRs.
• Verify quantities and products delivered vs ship tickets.
• Collect payment as per ship ticket instructions.
• Maintain driver logs per regulations.
• Operate safely per policies and regulations.
• Ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Maintain CDL and clean driving record.
• Uphold company policies and attitudes.

Class A CDL Driver

Summary

Company Driver for 53 ft. Tractor-Trailer | Full-time, Monday-Friday | Local routes |1-2 overnight stays per week will be required due to length of the route | Overtime available

Class A Driver Qualifications

• A valid Class A CDL Operator’s License
• 3 years (preferably 100,000 miles) previous driving experience
• Ability to pass both pre-employment and random drug tests as required by the DOT
• Ability to pass driving history and background check process
• Possess a Federal Medical Card
• Working knowledge of the common hazards and safety precautions for Class A Drivers
• Previous experience making multiple deliveries
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Class A CDL Driver Duties

• Inspects truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR’s) as required
• Assists customers with verifying quantities and products delivered versus ship tickets
• Collects payment for goods delivered in accordance with payment instructions on ship ticket
• Maintains driver logs according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Operates within applicable safety guidelines as defined by government regulations, the company’s safety manuals and/or stated safety policies
• Ensures equipment cleanliness is maintained
• Maintain CDL and clean driving record per DOT and company rules and regulations
• Upholds and complies with company policies and attitudes
