Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver to deliver designated heavy equipment to customer sites in Oregon and Washington. The role emphasizes safety, accurate reporting, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with no overnights and rare weekends. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage loading/unloading, and ensure the equipment is understood by the customer and kept in good condition.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with manual transmission experience.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Clean driving record for the previous 3 years.
• Strong safety and load/unload procedures.

Responsibilities

REIC Rentals is hiring an experienced Local Class A CDL Driver in Seaside, OR to the deliver designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Schedule M-F (no overnights and rare weekends).

What you will do

As a Local Class A CDL Driver, you will deliver heavy equipment to customer sites in OR and WA state. you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned and Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment, ensure the operator is familiar with delivered equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, keep a clean truck with current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

• Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
• Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
• Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
• Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance

Top candidates will have:

• Valid Class A CDL Driver's License is required with manual transmission experience
• Minimum two (2) years of driving experience REQUIREDExperience in construction is preferred
• Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
  • Committing a felony with a motor vehicle
  • Reckless driving Excessive speed

Physical demands
