Job summary

QCD, a subsidiary of GSF, is hiring a Class A CDL driver in Pineville, NC to deliver food products to restaurants on local routes, with home daily. The role includes loading/unloading, vehicle inspections, and DOT log compliance.

Starting pay is 28.19/hour with weekly pay, health/dental/vision after 30 days, and a 401(k) plan with uniforms and work shoes provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical card.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 5–75+ lbs and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers).
• Strong communication with dispatch and store teams.

Class A CDL Driver – Pineville, NC

What You'll Do:

In This Role, You'll:

• Operate a diesel-powered tractor-trailer on local routes - no layovers
• Deliver food products safely and efficiently to restaurant customers
• Load and unload using hand trucks or pallet jacks - this is a touch-freight role
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and submit accurate paperwork
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, store personnel, and team members
• Handle return loads and ensure equipment and deliveries are in compliance

What You'll Bring:

• Valid Class A CDL w/ current DOT medical card and at least 1+ year of tractor-trailer driving experience in food service or beverage delivery.
• Ability to lift 5-75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow drivers
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
• Ability to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulations

The Schedule & Setting:

• Class A Dispatches: Sunday - Saturday: 11:30am-5:30pm
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays
• All trailers equipped with liftgates - no ramps
• Touch freight - with repetitive lifting 75+ lbs.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: 28.19/hourly (Avg 85,000 annually)
