State Steel Supply Co. in Omaha, NE is seeking a CDL-A Regional Flatbed Driver for full-time work. You’ll haul steel on regional routes, securely chain, tarp, and deliver with safety as a priority while staying compliant with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Current DOT medical card
• Excellent driving record
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Experience securing different types of cargo, including oversized loads
• Ability to chain, tarp, and secure heavy loads in any weather
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Accountability, integrity, and a safety-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Safely run a tractor and flatbed trailer on regional routes, delivering steel including oversized loads
• Chain, strap, and tarp every load, and do it right the first time
• Check in and out with supervisor for assignments
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep equipment in top shape
• Keep accurate logs, DVIRs, proof of delivery, and fuel receipts
• Stay in contact with supervisor, sales team, and customers
• Report any incidents or safety concerns immediately
