Job summary

J Rose Enterprises is seeking Class A CDL drivers within 40 miles of Davenport, IA for a Home Daily regional position. Run contract freight within about a 250-mile radius, with 100% no-touch dry van loads and protected weekly pay.

Compensation includes starting base pay of $0.62 CPM, a $0.03 CPM safety bonus, $25.00/hour for shuttle/dedicated runs, and a $1,000 weekly gross minimum guarantee. A $10,000 retention bonus and a $5,000 referral bonus are offered, with day-one benefits and holiday pay

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Residence within a 40-mile radius of Davenport, IA.
• Must meet all DOT physical and drug screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional Home Daily routes within approximately a 250-mile radius.
• Trucks are no-touch dry van with mostly drop-and-hook freight.
• Shuttle runs and warehouse hauling may be assigned as needed.
• Adhere to safety and company policies while meeting delivery schedules.

Run contract freight within a tight 250-mile radius, enjoy 100% no-touch dry van loads, and benefit from protected weekly pay even if the miles fluctuate.

Compensation & Incentives

• Starting Base Pay: $0.62 CPM
• Safety Bonus: Earn an additional $0.03 CPM safety bonus
• Shuttle / Hourly Pay: $25.00/hour for dedicated shuttle runs and warehouse hauling
• Guaranteed Minimum: $1,000 weekly gross minimum guarantee (Your income is protected!)
• Retention Bonus: $10,000 Retention Bonus applied to all positions
• Referral Bonus: $5,000 for every driver you successfully refer
• Delay Protection: $50 layover pay if delayed through no fault of your own

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Daily: Sleep at home after every shift.
• Operating Radius: Running local contract freight within approximately a 250-mile radius.
• Shift Length: Workdays may run up to 14 hours.
• Additional Variety: As needed, drivers will handle Nestle dedicated shuttle runs (Clinton Davenport) and warehouse hauling.

Equipment & Safety

• Truck Specifications: Trucks are standard-governed at 65 MPH. Fleet average performance incentives allow truck speeds to increase to 70 MPH if idle time stays under 25%.
• Freight Type: 100% No-Touch Dry Van. Mostly drop-and-hook contract freight.
• Safety: All required safety equipment is provided 100% by the company.
• Lease Purchase: Programs available for drivers interested in owner-operator paths.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable Class A driving experience is required.
• Geography: Must reside within a 40-mile radius of Davenport, IA.
• Must meet all DOT physical and drug screening requirements.
