Job summary

Reyes Beverage Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our local delivery fleet. You will unload and deliver products, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure accurate paperwork for deliveries on a daily route.

The role requires 21+ years old, a valid Class A CDL, 1+ year driving experience, ability to lift up to 170 lbs, and a willingness to work full-time on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and be at least 21 years old.
• 1+ year of Class A driving experience or equivalent military driving.
• Must be able to lift products from 25 to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and pallet jack as needed for deliveries.
• Collect payments and complete delivery/pickup paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• The Class A Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• As a Class A Driver, you must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• You will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• Additionally, you will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education And Experience

• Must be at least 21 years old
• 1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military with a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Must possess a Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
