Position Summary

Drives freight between company terminals and customer facilities or work sites within a defined geographic area, ensuring freight is delivered in a claims-free and cost-efficient manner.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.
• Sorts, handles, loads, and unloads freight at various company and customer locations.
• Plans routes and schedules for timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follows established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures.
• Conducts inspections following safety and quality control procedures.
• Maintains records, forms, and load-related paperwork.
• Serves as the first point of contact for delivery issues.

Compensation Range:

$31.25 - $35.75 per hour.

Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Class A commercial driver's license.
• Clean motor vehicle report and endorsements such as hazmat, tankers, doubles, triples.
• At least 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience.
• Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to lift and move objects of various sizes and weights.
