Aspen Waste Systems of Iowa, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to operate collection trucks in the Des Moines metro area. You will deliver prompt, courteous service to commercial customers while maintaining safety and vehicle standards.

Qualifications include a valid CDL (Class A or B) with air brakes, ability to obtain DOT medical certification, and a clean driving record. Familiarity with the Des Moines area is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOT Medical certification.
• Safe driving record and clean background.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must have manual transmission endorsement.
• Familiarity with Des Moines metro area is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate collection trucks safely and efficiently for commercial routes in Des Moines area.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to Aspen’s customers.
• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate safety concerns or route issues to supervisor promptly.
