Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a CDL-equipped driver responsible for safe operation of a Class B or A straight truck across varied routes. Key duties include pre-trip inspections, maintaining logs, and loading/unloading freight at dock or customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class B or A and FMCSA clearance.
• Reside within 75 miles of the Service Center.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment safely, including manual transmissions, chains, in varied terrains.
• Drive a Class B or A CDL straight truck following FMCSA rules.
• Maintain required records per local, state and federal regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Assist with loading/unloading freight at dock and customer sites.
• Report maintenance issues to Fleet Services promptly.
• Ensure security of equipment and cargo; comply with all safety policies.
• Possess English reading/speaking ability per FMCSA requirements.
