Opifex-Synergy is hiring CDL Drivers to transport construction equipment between locations using tractor trailers and heavy trucks. You must hold a Class A CDL and medical certification, with a focus on safety, timeliness, and compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires load securement, pre/post trip inspections, and strong customer communication. Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving experience, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL license and medical certification required.
• 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving preferred.
• Clean driving record; background check and drug test required.
• Flexible shifts; able to maneuver and park tractor-trailer.
• Strong eyesight and hearing; physically fit.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and securing equipment for transport.
• Safely loading and unloading equipment using proper tools and techniques.
• Ensure cargo is balanced and secured per regulations.
• Verify load documentation and protection during transit.
• Operate commercial vehicles on local/regional routes.
• Plan efficient travel paths considering traffic and delivery deadlines.
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Identify mechanical issues and report promptly.
• Maintain logs and comply with safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers for a positive delivery experience.
• Provide updates on timing, equipment condition, and instructions.
• Address concerns promptly and courteously.
• Ensure safe usage of equipment at delivery and customer understanding of safety features.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Class A CDL license

Medical certification

2+ years of tractor-trailer driving

Clean driving record
