Opifex-Synergy is seeking a motivated CDL Driver to transport construction equipment between local sites. The role requires a Class A CDL, medical certification, and a clean driving record.

You will perform safe loading, securing, and delivery duties on local routes with emphasis on safety and timely service. Candidates should have 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience, be able to pass background/drug tests, and work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid CDL Class A license and medical certification
• 2+ years of tractor-trailer driving preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Comfortable maneuvering and parking a tractor-trailer
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
• Physically and mentally fit

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, and securing equipment for transport
• Safely load/unload using proper tools and handling techniques
• Ensure cargo is balanced and secured per policies
• Verify load documentation and equipment protection during transit
• Operate commercial vehicles on local and regional routes
• Plan efficient travel paths considering traffic and deadlines
• Adapt to schedule changes and customer needs
• Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Identify mechanical issues early and report them
• Maintain logs and comply with safety protocols
• Communicate with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience
