Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and deliver prompt waste removal services. The driver must follow safety standards, complete daily vehicle reports, and maintain vehicle readiness for on-time service.

Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, loading refuse, and interacting professionally with customers and dispatchers. This position emphasizes safety, reliability, and adherence to regulatory policies across routes.

Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License Class B or higher with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to follow safety policies and complete required reports.
• Good customer service skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the collection truck on designated routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose material at the facility.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers daily.
• Maintain route/productivity sheets and reports.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
