Qualifications

  • 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience or more
  • Valid Class A CDL (endorsements preferred)
  • Strong safety record and adherence to DOT rules
  • Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
  • Team-oriented, customer-focused attitude

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport feed and agricultural products to customers within the local service area
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and CDL requirements
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
  • Assist with feed mixing, batching, and manufacturing processes
  • Operate feed mill equipment safely and maintain quality standards
  • Load, unload, and clean trucks in a safe and efficient manner
  • Support routing and distribution of feed to designated storage bins
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Represent the cooperative professionally through positive customer interactions
  • Perform general facility duties and other tasks as assigned

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable CDL Driver & Feed Mill Technician to support daily feed delivery operations and on-site mill activities. This role blends local driving with hands‑on feed production and facility support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and serving local producers. Your work directly supports customer success through safe, timely deliveries and high‑quality feed manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport feed and agricultural products to customers within the local service area
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations and CDL requirements
  • Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Accurately handle delivery documentation and required records
  • Assist with feed mixing, batching, and manufacturing processes
  • Operate feed mill equipment safely while maintaining quality and accuracy standards
  • Load, unload, and clean trucks efficiently and safely
  • Support routing and distribution of feed to designated storage bins
  • Assist with routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Represent the cooperative professionally through positive customer interactions

What We’re Looking For

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Outdoor and indoor work in all weather conditions
  • Operation of manual transmission quad-axle trucks or semi‑trucks
  • Frequent climbing in and out of trucks throughout the day
  • Ability to climb ladders to inspect truck loads
  • Occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, loading, and equipment operation
