Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Local/Yard Driver to transport trailers on our facility properties and handle local pickups and deliveries. You’ll support loading dock teammates and help keep a safe, clean work environment while delivering exceptional service to customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A driver's license (CDL) and minimum one-year CDL driving experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and acquire forklift/industrial vehicle licenses.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Relocate, transport, and stage for loading/unloading to meet receiving, production and shipping goals.
• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.
• Transport product locally between plants, local vendors, and local customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.
• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations and ensure proper documentation of department data.
