Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Local/Yard Driver in Fargo, ND to transport trailers on facility properties and perform local pick-ups and deliveries. You will assist loading dock staff with loading and unloading trucks, while keeping safety and DOT compliance front and center.

You will work Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 3:30 pm with potential overtime. The role offers $29 per hour and opportunities to contribute to a well‑established, family‑owned window and door company with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and at least 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements and maintain compliance.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Transport trailers on Marvin facilities and stage for loading/unloading.
• Assist loading dock teams with loading and unloading trucks.
• Complete DVIRs and ensure road worthiness of tractor/trailer.
• Maintain yard checks and accurate documentation per regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while moving goods locally.

Job Overview

Ready to take the wheel and steer your career in the right direction? Marvin is looking for a Local/Yard Driver to join our team! In this role, you'll transport trailers on our facility properties and complete local pick-ups and deliveries. You'll also help loading dock associates with loading and unloading trucks.

The ideal candidate is passionate about maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful work environment.

Highlights of your role

• Relocate, transport, and stage for loading and unloading to meet required receiving, production and shipping goals.

• Partner with receiving and shipping teams to maintain detailed yard checks.

• Transport product locally between plants, local vendors, and local customers while providing excellent customer service.

• Complete Electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports on tractor and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness.

• Maintain all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Marvin regulations and ensure proper documentation of department data.

Enjoy a comfortable schedule:

• Monday-Thursday; 5:30 am - 3:30 pm; occasional overtime as needed | Pay: $29 per hour; Overtime required as needed.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Valid Class A driver's license (CDL) and minimum one-year CDL driving experience required.

• Ability to meet all DOT requirements.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Also want to make sure you have

• Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 85 lbs.

• Ability to acquire and retain forklift/industrial vehicle licenses required for this role

• Basic computer skills and strong communication skills.

• Ability to work well both with a team and independently in a fast-paced position.
