Job summary

BlueLinx Corporation is seeking a professional CDL-A truck driver to join our team in Minneapolis. You will have the ability to be home every night and weekend, working first shift with a starting pay rate of $33.77 per hour.

You will drive flatbeds and curtain-sides, using new equipment, with comprehensive benefits.| Responsibilities include securement of loads (no tarping), timely freight delivery, handling returns, and DOT-compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record required.
• Ability to secure loads.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping - ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections.
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports.
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required.
