Job summary

BlueLinx Holdings Inc. in the United States is seeking experienced truck drivers with a Class A CDL to deliver freight securely and on time. You'll handle load securing (no tarping), manage POD paperwork, and interact professionally with customers.

You’ll enjoy home weekends, starting pay at $30 per hour, first shift hours, modern equipment, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• 12 months of verifiable tractor trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping.
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling returns.
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers.
• Interact professionally with customers and address issues.
• Maintain daily safety checklist and complete required inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and complete trip reports.
• Direct unloading by customers when required.
