Job summary

BlueLinx is seeking professional truck drivers to join our team in the United States. The role features a 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM schedule, home every night and weekend, and competitive starting pay of $29.55 per hour. Operate flatbed and curtain side trailers with no tarping and use new safe equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and safe driving record.
• At least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Properly secure loads. NO tarping – ONLY strapping
• 15-20% Running loads, the rest will be Yard Jockey
• Accurate and timely delivery of freight and handling of customer product returns when required
• Manage Proof of Delivery paperwork from customers
• Interact professionally with customers and communicate customer issues
• Maintain daily safety checklist and perform all required DOT inspections
• Maintain electronic logbook and complete trip reports
• Direct the unloading by customers, when required
