Job summary

Central Transport in Tifton, GA is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers to operate within a home-daily local route framework. You will ensure timely, damage-free delivery of freight and assist with unloading at daily completion.

Qualifying candidates will have 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain within 90 days), and a clean motor vehicle record. A DOT drug screen and hair follicle test are required.

Qualifications

• HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.
• No DUI in last 5 years (no more than 1 in lifetime).

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free on local routes.
• Unload trailer upon daily route completion.
• Represent the company professionally with customers.
