Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our Charlotte, NC location. You will be the face of our company, delivering freight on time and damage-free while building strong customer relationships.

Operate modern equipment and enjoy local home daily routes, unload trailers at the end of each day, and return home every night. 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required; HazMat and Tanker endorsement or within 60 days; clean MVR; ability to pass DOT drug screen

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (no more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen and hair follicle test

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free to customers.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
