Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our Peoria location. This role offers home daily routes and consistency in schedules while operating modern equipment and representing a trusted LTL carrier.

Drivers deliver freight on time and damage-free, and unload trailers at the end of their routes. A minimum of 3 months tractor-trailer experience is required; HazMat/Tanker endorsements may be required within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• No DUI in last 5 years (no more than 1 lifetime).
• Able to pass DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload freight on local routes, home daily.
• Ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
