Job summary

Central Transport in Norfolk, VA is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers for local routes with home daily schedules and a guaranteed home life. You will ensure freight is delivered on time and damage-free while unloading the trailer at the end of each route.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen AND hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free to customers.
• Unload trailer upon completion of the daily route.
• Be home nightly with local routes and consistent schedules.
