Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking an experienced CDL Driver to operate a route-based truck, service farms, and transport product to facilities. Local Magnolia area; flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT screenings and a background check. Training pay starts at $22.25 per hour, with progression to PBL based on performance.

Qualifications

• CDL driving experience of 1 year or more required.
• Must have valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• DOT medical card and background/drug screen compliance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned route safely and on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to ensure proper scheduling.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods.
