Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a CDL Driver to join our local delivery team. You’ll be home daily with weekends off and enjoy competitive hourly pay with no touch freight.

You’ll run 10-12 hour shifts on a 53’ automatic truck, completing about 4-5 routes per shift within a 300-mile radius. English proficiency is required to communicate safety and delivery information effectively.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CDL-A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Must be 23 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT Physical with a nationally registered DOT physician.
• PSP scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• English reading, writing and speaking proficiency.

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook
• Deliver and pick up trailers within 300 miles, making about 4-5 routes per shift
• Drive an automatic, 53’ truck/dry van for 10-12 hour shifts
• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, truck and trailer is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Work Environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
