Job summary

48forty Solutions in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a CDL Driver to join our team. You will handle local truckload deliveries, primarily drop and hook, and enjoy competitive pay with no-touch freight and weekends off.

This full-time role offers a typical schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, home daily, and access to benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, short- and long-term disability, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must possess a valid CDL license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician
• No record of being disqualified to drive
• Successful completion of a DOT road test
• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
• Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently

Overview

As a CDL Driver, you'll get the opportunity for competitive pay, for weekends off, to be home daily, and have no touch freight!

Hourly Pay:

$28.45/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM

What You'll Do

• Handle all local truckload deliveries; primarily drop and hook

• Deliver and pick up trailers within (# of miles) making about (# of routes) routes per shift

• Drive an automatic, 53' truck/dry van for (# of hours) shifts

What You'll Need

• 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years

• Must be at least 23 years of age or older

• Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle

• Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician

• No record of being disqualified to drive

• Successful completion of a DOT road test

• PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years - a higher score will be reviewed

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years

• Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
