Job summary

Linde plc. is seeking a professional Truck Driver to join our Albany, NY team. You will deliver products to customers with 10–12 stops per day, ensure accurate paperwork, and uphold DOT hazmat requirements.

The role includes pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintaining safety standards. You will build strong customer and internal relationships while learning Linde's operating model to support company growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; fluent reading/writing in English.
• Two years of driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification; valid CDL A/B.
• Must be 21+ years old; hazmat endorsement or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in past 2 years.
• No alcohol-related convictions in last 10 years; pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers with about 10–12 stops per day, handling freight and paperwork.
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles delivered and picked up.
• Complete hazmat shipping papers per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Identify needed vehicle repairs or maintenance.
• Build relationships with customers and internal teams to meet goals.
• Learn and apply Linde's operations to support growth.
