Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver for a local route. The role centers on delivering food products to various customers,18 and you will be home every night with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The position requires driving a Class A CDL and handling loads using proper equipment. Expect early dispatch hours (3:00 am – 5:00 am) to complete routes, with pay components including daily base pay and mileage, stops, and case deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL at hire or within 90 days.
• 1–2 years of Class A CDL experience.
• Ability to unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as per DOT standards.
• Must be registered with the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other customers.
• Home every night with Local Route schedule (Mon–Fri).
• Dispatch times between 3:00 am – 5:00 am to finish routes.
• Unload deliveries safely using proper equipment.

Position: Local Delivery Route Driver - Home Every Night and Weekends

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date
• 1–2 years experience with Class A CDL
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
• Successfully pass a drug test (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• Must be registered with the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent to be considered for employment
