Job summary

MCG Tran in Fife, WA is seeking a delivery driver for routes to customers in WA and OR. You will hand unload windows and doors, often weighing up to 80 lbs and up to 400 lbs for heavier items.

You will use a scanner to verify products at each stop and adhere to customer check-in protocols. The role requires frequent heavy lifting, driving straight trucks with daily starts at 5:00 am, and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

Responsibilities

• Deliver windows, doors, and Milgard products in straight trucks and day cabs from Fife, WA to customers in WA and OR.
• Hand unload at receiver and verify correct product at each stop with a scanner.
• Follow procedures to check in loaded trailers, drop trailers in proper locations, and reposition load securement bars after each stop.
• Most deliveries in straight trucks; day cab used only as needed; physical handling at each stop.

Job description

• Driver will be making deliveries of windows, doors, and other Milgard products in straight trucks and day cabs with dry van trailers from Fife, WA to customers in WA and OR
• At the receiver driver is required to hand unload windows, doors, and other products
  • Average weight of the windows/doors/product is 80lbs with some products weighing up to 400lbs
    • Driver will have dollies to assist with heavier items. Driver must be able to lift 80lbs multiple times per day
• Driver is required to use a scanner to scan product at each stop and verify the correct product is being delivered
  • Driver is required to follow customer protocol for checking in loaded trailers and dropping trailers in the proper location
• Driver is required to reposition the load securement bars after each stop to ensure product is safe for transit
• • Driver will make the majority of their deliveries in a straight truck. They will only use a day cab as needed
  • This position is very physical and requires the driver to handle product at each stop
