Job summary

Metals USA in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver to transport heavy industrial loads. You will operate a 40-foot flatbed, secure cargo and deliver materials to customer sites while maintaining a safe driving record and proper paperwork.

The role requires 3–5 years of heavy hauling experience, a current CDL Class A license, and the ability to pass DOT physicals and FMCSA screens. No overnight travel is required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license – current and in good standing.
• 3–5 years heavy hauling experience transporting heavy industrial loads.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and FMCSA drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 40-foot flatbed truck to transport materials.
• Secure loads and ensure safe loading/unloading with winch, hoist or forklift.
• Comply with all traffic regulations and company safety policies.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs per FMCSR.
