Job summary

The Swan Food Company (CJ Schwan's Company) is hiring a local CDL Class B route driver in Indianapolis, Indiana. This interim role offers growth potential into a long-term career with a solid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities include delivering to grocery stores, unloading, documenting deliveries with proof of delivery, using handheld devices, and maintaining DOT compliance. Prior delivery or warehouse experience and a valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior delivery or warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products, place product in back room, collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily work.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
