Job summary

The Swan Food Company is seeking an interim CDL Class B route driver to deliver products to grocery stores across our local route. This hands-on role supports popular brands and offers a path to a long-term position.

You will unload, organize, and deliver products, while using handheld devices to confirm daily tasks. The position requires a Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement and the ability to lift 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery, grocery, or warehouse experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; must be 21+ and able to meet medical certification requirements.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and move frozen product using proper equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Complete local daily route as planned to meet service expectations.
• Unload products and place them in the back room; collect proof of delivery.
• Use handheld technology to complete daily tasks.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain DOT rules and perform truck inspections.
