Job summary

The Swan Food Company in Indianapolis, IN is hiring immediately for a CDL Class B route delivery position. You will deliver product, place orders, and merchandise to ensure product availability on store shelves.

Work Monday through Friday with some weekend travel; early start times. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and 401K with Company Match, paid vacation and holidays, and a uniform allowance.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and handle frozen product
• Pre-employment background check, drug test, and DOT physical

Responsibilities

• Provide route coverage while delivering product.
• Place orders and drive additional sales by gaining display space.
• Merchandise product, maintain display space, and rotate product.
• Use handheld technology and sales software to complete daily work.
• Build in-store relationships and work effectively with co-workers.
• Maintain DOT rules and regulations and perform truck inspections
