Job summary

United Rentals in Plymouth, MN, is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to deliver equipment safely and on time, serving as a company ambassador while interacting with customers. This local role offers the opportunity to be home every night and advance within a world-leading equipment rental provider.

Responsibilities include dropping off and picking up gear, complying with DOT safety rules, logging trips, and assisting customers with additional equipment needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL required and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of DOT regulated commercial driving experience.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drop off and pick up equipment for customers.
• Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers per CDL-B.
• Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections.
• Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customers' needs.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
