Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Washington state seeks a qualified Class B CDL driver for a full-time position. The role requires operating a Class B CDL Straight Truck and performing safety duties across varied terrains and weather conditions.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, maintain FMCSA logs, and assist with loading/unloading freight as needed while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• Must be 21 years of age if going interstate (1 year driving experience required).
• Must possess a valid Class B or Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• Hazmat endorsement recommended if available but not required.
• Ability to operate a forklift (minimum 7,500 lb. vehicle).
• Must be able to lift approximately 70 lbs. and perform related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment and perform safety functions as required.
• Safely drive a Class B CDL Straight Truck in compliance with FMCSA and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document findings.
• Maintain required records and FMCSA logs and reports.
• Perform dock work including loading/unloading freight as needed.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Attend to duties as assigned and adhere to company policies.
