Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Cedar Rapids is seeking CDL-B delivery drivers for local routes. An early morning start, Monday through Friday, with home every night and local routes out of the Cedar Rapids Warehouse.

You will deliver food and related products to customers, perform safety checks, complete paperwork, and load/unload as required. Competitive pay at $22.50 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months commercial driving experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid CDL-B license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years and pass background checks.
• DOT health card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on vehicle per DOT regulations.
• Drive local/intrastate routes and deliver on schedule.
• Unload cargo and verify deliveries with customers and invoices.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and secure loads per policy.

Skills

6 months commercial driving experience
