Silvi Materials is seeking a CDL-A/B Concrete Mixer Truck Driver in Philadelphia, PA. The role delivers ready-mix concrete, upholds safety and quality standards, and supports our community. The schedule is night-based with start times between midnight and 9:00 am.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are anywhere between 12:00 am through 9:00 am.
• 1 year of preferred driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes, and driving in areas with heavy traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.

So what does a Silvi Materials Concrete Mixer driver do?

• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch regarding all deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials off and out of all areas of the truck and barrel.

Qualifications Required as a Silvi Materials Driver.

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule. Start times are anywhere between 12:00 am through 9:00 am. Requires calling in to the plant at 4/5pm daily.
• 1 year of preferred driving expereince
