Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Fleet Driver to operate Class A vehicles and deliver freight to stores on a local, home-daily schedule. The role supports a reliable supply chain and emphasizes safety and customer service in every interaction.

Full-time position with day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. The driver will handle yard movements, adhere to DOT rules, and represent the company professionally while ensuring on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL-A license.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• One year of truck driving experience or successful completion of an accredited CDL training program.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, road test, and pre-employment drug screen.
• No moving violations within the last year or more than two in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles.
• Deliver freight from distribution centers to stores on schedule.
• Transport vendor backhauls to distribution centers.
• Perform yard switching and trailer movements as needed.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety regulations.
• Represent Meijer with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.
