Job description

A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Local Class A P&D Truck Driver in Erie, PA. This position pays $33.35 per hour. You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling either a 32’, 40’, 45’, 48’ or 53’ trailer to various customer locations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Completing overnight trips between Pyle locations
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to FMCSA safety regulations
• Building relationships through communication with customers
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Valid Hazmat endorsement to start
• Minimum 1 year recent tractor trailer experience
• Current or ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• At least 21 years old
• No more than three violations or accidents in the last three years
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
