Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Burnet, TX is seeking a CDL A driver to haul cement, mortar and related materials to support concrete production. This role requires a clean MVR, a tanker endorsement, and the ability to navigate routes efficiently; local deliveries and home every night are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A and a clean MVR.
• Tanker endorsement preferred or required where applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Safety minded and able to follow procedures precisely.
• Good communication skills for dispatch and customers.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Transport cement, mortar, and other materials safely and timely.
• Load/unload and assist with weight distribution as needed.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and Production to maintain material levels.
• Maintain records such as daily log, fuel tickets, and documents.
• Navigate routes using Android tablet and ELD; maintain customer relations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues promptly.
• Comply with state, federal, OSHA, MSHA regulations and company policies.
• Provide routine maintenance documentation for vehicle and equipment.
• Support additional duties as required by the job.
