Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring a CDL A driver for local aggregate deliveries in Memphis. You will pick up and offload materials using a tractor and end dump trailer, with occasional flatbed deliveries as needed. A clean MVR and at least two years of CDL experience are required.

Responsibilities include safe material handling, timely customer deliveries, proper loading, and meticulous documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Local routes allow home every night.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with clean MVR and at least 2 years of CDL experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• DOT yearly physical and staying compliant with safety standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork for loading and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and offload aggregate materials using tractor and end dump trailer.
• Safely dump materials and make deliveries to customers as needed.
• Supervise loading to ensure proper order and weight distribution.
• Receive and follow dispatch instructions and maintain records.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report issues immediately.
• Maintain truck and equipment with routine maintenance.
• Develop knowledge of inventory, sizes, colors, and pallet packaging.
• Uphold safety regulations and customer service standards.
