Job summary

TranSouth Logistics in Dalton, GA is seeking a Full-Time CDL A route driver to cover Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, Opelika, AL and Adel, GA, with a daily round trip to Chattanooga, TN. This local, home-daily position features no-touch freight and a starting pay of $60,000–$75,000 per year.

You will work Monday through Friday, maintain a good MVR, DOT drug/alcohol test, and have Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license required.
• 1+ years of proven tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no more than 1 moving violation.
• Must pass a background check and DOT drug test.
• Proficient with GPS and E-log systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate local routes covering Dalton, GA and surrounding areas, plus Opelika, AL and Adel, GA.
• Make daily round trips to Chattanooga, TN with no-touch freight.
• Adhere to schedule, safety, and regulatory requirements.
